Function Is Truth is the practice of Thomas Obermayer.
Twenty‑five years of engineering across mission‑critical infrastructure: traffic and broadcast systems, tolling, telematics, commercial IT/OT operations and high‑end cine engineering. The last ten in leadership roles, carrying full responsibility from concept to delivery.
Engagements have spanned national broadcasters, global infrastructure operators and specialist manufacturers, alongside workshops for public institutions and financial‑sector clients, all under confidentiality that precludes naming them individually.
That experience is codified into the FIT Delta Assessment: a repeatable framework built on structured elicitation and domain modelling. Where it helps, graph‑based tooling and generative AI accelerate the work and make it auditable; they don’t replace it. The result: complex existing assets mapped against strict targets, turning months of architectural discovery into rapid, audit‑proof decisions.
Where engagements carry strict confidentiality or NDA obligations, cloud tooling is often not an option. In those cases, we deliver on Sovereign AI: fully on‑premises, air‑gapped systems, developed with independent academic AI‑research expertise.
